June 20 to August
20
We have a 95% success in obtaining
our limit of chinook (10-30 pounds), halibut (20-170 pounds)
and hatchery coho (5-15 pounds) during this time. Travel
time is approx. 45 minutes and we fish virtually alone.
It is truly magical.
August 20 to September
10
We fish the Nitnat Chinook (25-50
lbs) and the Swiftsure Bank. It is fantastic Trophy Fishing.
We are disappointed if we don't get four chinook per morning
with our limit of huge coho in the afternoon.
September 10 to October 5
Swiftsure Bank and San Juan River
coho are plentiful and huge. The largest in the 2001 season,
landed minutes from our wharf was 27 pounds. We use ultra
light tackle and can count on non-stop action.
